Tacky Booth Coating 2329 is a water-based transparent masking that forms a clear coating.

Tacky Booth Coating 2329 is used as a water removable, temporary protective coating for spray booth windows, steel walls, and plastic hoses where overspray accumulation must be readily removed. This clear coatings is designed to maximize the trapping of dust, dirt, and other airborne debris, while not altering the appearance of the original substrate on which it was applied. The composition of the masking inhibits the rusting of steel. Tacky Booth Coating 2329 forms a non-clouding flexible film. Tacky Booth Coating 2329 can be applied by brush, spray or roller. It is used as received, no dilution is needed.
Recommended application is with airless spray equipment, however, air atomizing equipment, brush or roller application may be use . A 30:1 ratio airless spray unit with a 0.035” fluid orifice in the spray gun will provide good results.

Airless equipment can be extremely hazardous. It is recommended that all precautionary information regarding the operation of an airless gun be read, understood, and followed.

The surface to be coated should be clean and relatively dry for best adhesion of the coating.

Tacky Booth Coating 2329 should be applied with the air on in the booth to speed drying time. The material should be sprayed in a uniform film of 10-mils to 15-mils wet thickness. This film will be damp but non-smearing in 30 to 40 minutes. It will be dry but tacky to the touch in 60 minutes. Drying time may vary depending on film thickness, humidity and air flow.

Tacky Booth Coating 2329 is readily removed with cold or hot water.

Tacky Booth Coating 2329 must be protected from freezing. If product should become frozen, warm to ambient temperature and mix thoroughly before using.
