PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
PLC-3426 is a water based, alkaline paint line cleaner designed for use in “deep cleaning” water base paint lines. This formulated product, comprised of specialty sufactants and water base solvent, removes both fresh and hardened water base paint from delivery tanks and lines. PLC 3426 can also be diluted with water for flushing water base paint lines whenever preventative maintenance operations are performed.

line cleaning should be done before
the start-up of a new installation, as
well as between changes in color,
resin type or manufacturer, between
changes from solvent to water-borne
paints or vice versa and when systems
exhibit reduced fluid flow or gun
plugging due to the internal build up
of resin, pigment or flake. After the
cleaning operation is finished, all
spent material and any unused product
can be removed from the plant by a
licensed waste hauler.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
Remove paint from paint line and flush with water. Remove the water and fill paint line system with PLC-3426. Circulate the cleaner while bagging the return line with a 100 micron bag. After the bag holds for two hours reduce the bag size to 25 microns and then finally to 5 microns. After the bag holds at 5 microns, flush the lines with water until the pH of the flushing water is obtained. The system is now ready for flushing resin, D.I. water, and water base paint.
